Work Certified

The Work Certified Program is supported through Washington Greene Job Training Agency and Intermediate Unit 1. Work Certified is a national work readiness certification program that identifies the knowledge, skills, and abilities an individual must know and be able to do in order to succeed in the workplace. Work Certified is a program created by employers for employers and job seekers benefits.

Workplace readiness classes are offered daily at Washington Greene Job Training from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Trained and certified Work Certified Instructors from Intermediate Unit 1 work in partnership with Washington Greene Job Training Agency to deliver quality instruction to students in Washington and Waynesburg.

After completion of the work readiness classes, students take an online assessment to become "Work Certified." A certification card is then given for proof to employers that an individual has completed the training, passed the certification test, and is ready for work.
