What did you do to prepare for videoconferencing? What procedures?

After dicussing the topic with my students they researched autopys and created an autopy plan that could be followed by the doctor. Also they performed the various labs that were sent with the preconference materials. This provided background information for the actual videoconference.

It depends on the videconference; some have a lot of prep work to do with the students, others have very little. I did do a short lesson on acceptable videconferencing behaviors and things that the children should avoid before we started videconferencing.

I worked with my children to understand what was going to happen and I also used the information provided by the conference to prepare my students for the information covered. I also set my room up according to the suggestions given to me by our technology support staff.
