Computer Fairs
Regional IU1 Middle School Computer Fair
On Thursday, March 12, 2009, the 2009 IU1 Regional Middle School Computer Fair was held at the IU1 Central Office. Participating were 32 students from five school districts competing in six categories. There were 24 projects in total.

Pennsylvania Middle School Computer Fair 2009
On May 20 at the 2009 Middle School Computer Fair held at Dickinson College, Ryan Maurer from Frazier Middle School secured third place in the highly competitive category of Multimedia design. His “Experimental Rocket Motor Construction”, complete with working rocket, is highlighted in the upper right hand corner picture on this page. It should be noted that Ryan placed a used motor in his rocket for competition to avoid any unscheduled launches.

Regional IU1 High School Computer Fair
On April 6, 2009, the IU1 Regional High School Computer Fair was held in partnership with Waynesburg University. Students representing all three counties participated in the event. There were 38 students from seven school districts competing in nine categories.

Pennsylvania High School Computer Fair 2009
On May 19th at the 2009 High School Computer Fair held at Dickinson College, Felicha Koschek from Jefferson-Morgan High School captured first place in the Computer Fair Logo category. This means that her logo design, along with identification of her as the designer, will be used on the website as well as all marketing materials, statewide, next year for the 2010 High School Computer Fair.
