Focusing on the key themes of our nation's democracy, The American Promise education kit includes two videotapes and a teaching guide, containing more than 250 exercises and assignments. Written by teachers for teachers, the program is a tool that can be used to show students the benefits of citizenship participation, develop a community service project, teach problem-solving skills and encourage discussion.
