Local Task Force
The Intermediate Unit 1 Local Task Force is a group of parents, educators, and community members who work together to support students with special needs in Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. Our goal is to make sure every child’s rights are protected, encourage teamwork between schools and community agencies, and promote positive, collaborative solutions in education. Any interested person or family member of a student with a disability may attend any of the regularly scheduled meetings. Interested families are critical to the membership to keep the Local Task Force effective!
